Take a look at the SS14 Christian Dior Show which has to be one of our
favourites yet.
Raf Simons created a Hyperreal Botanic Garden defined mixed with ultra
complicated black tailoring modernised from the Dior vaults.
The prints were the most gorgeous creations blending raspberry,
gentian, ginger, primrose, sunflower, poppy, lilac, violet,
and lime on the finest pleated crepe de chine.
There were Backless sundresses with oversewn
ribbons and poetic words 'Alicegarden', 'Hyperrealness',
'Primrose Path' and 'Ultra Violet'.

We loved the palest blue and pink satin tailored oversized
jackets worn with whisper thin chiffon skirts in yellow,
black and cream.
There were fine knit and shirting
which echoed the tennis court but much more
elegant and original.

The most beautiful satin tulip skirts worn
with simple tops in sherbet colour blocks,
slashed bubble skirts and finest of stripe satin tulip dresses.

Shoes are pointed stiletto with rubber and sports laces,
Bags are colourful snakeskin and rubber latticework.

Make up fell in with the hyperreal feel.
Eyebrows were Golden and so were eyes with a pale green
on eyelids.
The rest of the complexion completely natural with just
lip balm on the lips
and hair simply scraped back into buns.

Details from the show:
We love the beaded bracelets and open necklaces
in bright jewel colours
