David Shrigley at Sketch! Xx

Time to visit Sketch with it's Brand new
installation in it's Gallery Dining Room.
We are sad to see the original installation by Martin Creed go,
but excited to see the new interior designed by India Mahdavi
as a backdrop to 239 of David Shrigley's new works on the walls
and his specially designed ceramics.
Restaurant Staff will be wearing Richard Nicoll.

This was how the Gallery looked before with Martin Creed's Installation.
The walls painted with graphic colour blocks and each table, chair, knife, fork,
spoon and glass was different, individual and original.

In the new Design, Turner prize nominated and Fourth Plinth commissioned,
David Shrigley has transformed the Gallery at Sketch as
part of a long-term programme of artist conceived restaurants.
239 new works line the restaurant's walls forming the largest group of
original drawings David Shrigley has ever exhibited.
The exhibition continues on the restaurants tables with
ceramic tableware featuring his drawing and texts.
Food is by Masterchef Gagnaire.
