Tom Ford Summer 2014 Color Collection! Xx

"Sun-kissed skin with a hit of daring colour
has a powerful simplicity that is effortlessly stunning."

– Tom Ford

Jenny, Ryan and Emma

We went for a make up masterclass with Ryan at Harvey Nichols.
He showed us the whole Tom Ford Skin care range,
and how to prepare our skin before applying
the amazing new Summer 2014 Color Collection including
the stunning new Palette Unabashed,
which we just adore.

Above: Our final looks.

First to prepare the skin, Ryan used a small amount of Intensive Infusion
Concentrate £185 a gorgeous, luxurious, rich serum.

Then a small amount of Intensive Infusion Daily Moisturiser £135

And patted gently around the eyes Intensive Infusion eye treatment

Then for the Illuminating Protective Primer which can actually be
used on its own without foundation in the day.

For Emma's look Ryan used a Small amount of Natural Traceless Foundation
squeezed onto back of hand and worked into skin with brush
then finished with Natural Foundation stick.
Again - a very small amount - just enough to gain coverage where needed
and obtain an even flawless effect.

He used the powder with roll and pat movement to fix the foundation.

Then for applying bronzer from Unabashed Compact to cheekbones,
temples and neckline.

and the bright coral toned blusher to the upper cheekbones.
The final touch is a small amount of the Limited Edition
Tom Ford Skin Illuminator in Fire Lust on the top of the cheekbones to highlight.
Tom Ford Skin Illuminator in Fire Lust RRP £46.00

Above: the totally gorgeous Unabashed Palette
with three eye colors on the left
two natural browns: one matt and one iridescent, and a matt cobalt blue.
and on the right a bronzer and a coral blush.

Then for Emma's eyes.
First Ryan took a medium size eye brush and used the mid mushroom taupe
colour to shade the whole of the eye lid up to the crease.
Then using the paler and iridescent golden sand shade
he brushed a layer over the top.
Then he makes a C shape on the outside corner of the eye
with the cobalt blue and blends in.
After cleans underneath the eye any 'droppage' with a cotton bud and moisturiser.

Ryan works the cobalt blue into the crease of the eye,
blending thoroughly.
After finishing the blue, Ryan adds some more of the golden sand
shade to the inner corners of the eyes and again blends thoroughly.

Starting the liquid liner, Ryan draws close to the lash line ...
The liner is drawn up in a flick at the sides
and thickened up at the edge

Ryan works in some concealer under the
outside corner of the eye to lift and brighten.

... and finally a couple of coats of Ultra Length Mascara
see the difference from the eye with no liner and mascara.
Above the detail of Emma's finished eye make up along with
brow sculptor in Taupe.

Lipstick is in Incorrigible from the Spring Colors
with the New Lip Shimmer in Solar Gold over the top

 Emma's gorgeous final look.

So this is my base with the skin care - Intensive Infusion Concentrate,
Daily Moisturiser and eye treatment.
Ryan uses a small amount of Bisque Traceless Foundation
squeezed onto back of hand and worked into skin with brush
then finished with Bisque Foundation stick
and powder with roll and pat movement.
Here you can see highlighter in Amber Eclat drawn with long sweep downwards
and highlighter in Peach Blush in small strokes
under eye outwards to outer cheekbone.  These are worked in gently
and blended with a brush.

Illuminating Highlight Pen

and Skin Illuminator in Fire Lust on the cheekbones.

Ryan then started on my eyes.

First he took a medium size eye brush and used the mid mushroom taupe
colour to shade the whole of the eye lid up to the crease.
Then using the paler and iridescent golden sand shade
he brushed a layer over the top.

Then using the beautiful Midnight eye pencil (above),
he drew very close to the lash line with a slight flick at the outside corners
and blended in with an eyeliner brush.

Then with the same square ended brush he carefully
dipped into the vivid peacock blue pigment and patted it onto the back
of his hand.  Working from the back of his hand he blended the pigment
into the eyeliner, above and outwards to create an arch and also under the eye.
Then for Extra length Mascara and Taupe brow sculptor on the eyebrows.

Ryan used Lipstick in Pink Dusk with the
New Lip Shimmer in Solar Gold (below) over the top.

The lip shimmer is also available in Moonlight Infused with
vitamins C and E and Shea Butter
All packaged in limited edition iconic ivory and gold packaging.
