Tom Ford Spring Make up @ Harvey Nichols with Ryan! Xx

We went to see the Fabulous Ryan at the Tom Ford Counter
at Harvey Nichols for a Make over including the new Spring 2014 Colours
Jenny wears Dress Zadig and Voltaire, Coral Earrings and Gold Vermeil
Lifesaver Necklace both Kirsten Goss
Hair by Alex at Toni and Guy
Emma wears Dress Topshop, Jacket Reiss and Crystal
Necklace from Playa del Carmen Mexico

So Ryan started my make up with the Primer and Traceless Foundation
in Bisque applied with the foundation brush.
He then perfects the finish with the traceless foundation stick,
which Ryan uses as a concealer also.

Finally Ryan finishes with Translucent Powder
Ryan's trick for applying the Translucent powder is to
pat it on and roll the brush to fix the powder.

Before the Eyeshadow Ryan uses the Eyeshadow Primer
which consists of a cream and a powder to prepare the surface of your lid
perfectly for the Tom Ford Quads

Ryan did one eye before the other.  Look at the difference!

Ryan chose Ice Queen for a classic smoky eye
He started by drawing a smudgy line very close to the lashes in
Midnight blue and shading with the two mid tones of the quad

using the smoky eye brush Ryan shades under the eyes close to the lashes
with the darker shade
And then with the eye defining pen he draws the liner
with a small flick at the edge.  This liner really is the best around
it is deepest black colour and completely smudge proof.
There are two ends - one medium size for more flowing brush strokes
and one tiny for detailed work.  We are loving this liner.

 Mascara is Ultra Length Mascara

 Blush is Love Lust

Lipstick is from the new Spring 2014 Collection
07 Paradaiso
It is a gorgeous consistency which moisturises the lips
and acts also as a lip stain.

Here Ryan is explaining how to achieve a perfect complexion Tom Ford Style.

Using the moisturiser, primer Traceless Foundation and Traceless Foundation stick in Natural No 5 as he did before he created a perfect base for Emma's make up.
This time with Emma Ryan also uses the Legendary Tom Ford Product:
Shade and Illuminate.  Here you can see he sweeps a brushstroke of the deeper
shade underneath Emma's cheekbone to begin the sculpting effect.

He then blends this in totally so that you can barely see the edges
After Ryan applies the pale Illuminate on the top of the cheekbone,
temples and brow bone to give a glowing and luminous look to the skin.

Then for the Bronzer in Gold Dust

Ryan gave Emma a Eyeliner lesson by telling her to draw from the middle of the eyelid
to the outside corner, and the inside corner to join up the the middle of the eyelid.
That way you do not have to draw very long lines and get worried about having to
have a steady hand.  Make sure you stay as close as you can to the lashes and hold
your mirror close to the light.  The Tom Ford Eye Defining Pencils are
great for this.  Ryan used the Mink pencil here and
Golden Mink Quad.  Mascara is Ultra Length Mascara.

Blush in Love Lust

Lipstick is Spanish Pink
Ryan used brow sculptor in Taupe to sculpt and tone
Emma's brows to a perfect shape.
