Dolce and Gabbana Sicilian Jewels Collection! Xx

“I love jewels; they are the symbol of power and passion.
I love how they reflect the light: that’s why since the very
and captures implicit femininity and explicit sensuality,
inspiring desire and reinventing modern beauty.
beginning they have always been part of our collections.
We adorn our accessories, our corsetry, everything with gems.
Even our latest winter collection, which is the ultimate expression
of what jewellery means for us,”
Stefano Gabbana.

Sparkle Style are loving the four intense jewel shades
of the brand new Sicilian Jewels Collection:

Deep ruby red.

Bright purple amethyst

Ice cold luminous emerald green
amber yellow golden topaz

Above from top to bottom:
Rubino, Ametista, Emeraldo and Topiazo £27
each for the Classic Cream Lipstick

The lipstick case is a thin, smooth golden cylinder
with a cushion-cut gem set at its head.
The same theme is repeated with the outer packaging:
golden card with the top in the same colour of the stone.

Dazzling, precious and colourful: Dolce and Gabbana’s limited edition
make up collection for the Christmas season
takes its inspiration from Dolce and Gabbana AW13/14

From glittering golden Byzantine mosaics and jewellery
that lit up the catwalk appear in the Sicilian Jewels lip and nail colours.

The basic formulation for the lip colour is the
Classic Cream Lipstick, creamy and glossy,
and the Intense Nail Lacquer has a gem-like glow.

From Left to Right Emeraldo, Topiazo, Rubino and Ametista
£18 each for the Intense Nail Lacquer

Pat McGrath explains: “Matching your lipstick to your
nail lacquer is a hot make up trend.
We chose four new shades that showcase the theatrical
and playful side of looking good: they are so shiny
and special that they’ll be a perfect complement to
any Christmas or New Year outfit.
They can be worn in a young, ironic interpretation or
with a more grown-up, sophisticated vibe. Just like a piece of jewellery.”

Pat also says that the green lipstick can be
worn over the red in the centre of the lip
to create an ombre effect and giving a brownish tone to the deep ruby red.
Both the Green and Yellow lipsticks can be used as a creme colour on the eyes too.
Try the Amethyst under the eyes or in the eye sockets for extra drama.
They have a great highlighting quality to them.
For a total Party Look you can finish off with the gorgeous Intense Liquid eyeliner
and layers and layers of the new Passioneyes Mascara £26
as worn by Scarlett Johansson (below)
