Marc Jacobs FW 13/14

I have to say this:

Thank God for Marc Jacobs!

For each season he restores one's faith in Fashion.

Always perfect, always fresh.

And so sayeth Marc

(and Robert Duffy):

FW13/14 shall be 'Chic, Simple and Sexy'

 Knowing this, we can now go forth 

confidently into the next season.

Of course we will have another shot of MJ

right at the end of Paris Fashion Week

with the Louis Vuitton Show.

But this will do us for now.

So take a look at these gorgeous

girls reminding us of Hitchcock stars

such as Grace Kelly, Janet Leigh, Tippi Hedren, 

Ingrid Bergman, Joan Fontaine, Eva Marie Saint

and Kim Novak

We love the subtle, sparkling metallic textures

mixed with fur, glossy satin and fishnet print

in a powdery palette of kingfisher, petrol,

saffron, chocolate, bronze, gunmetal,

black, periwinkle, rose, deep purple and blood red.
