This new exhibition is centered on Pablo Picasso’s stage backdrop,
created for Serge Diaghilev’s 1924 ballet,
Le Train bleu (The Blue Train)

and shows how Gabrielle Chanel and
the greatest artists of her time invented a
totally new language that left a
deep and lasting mark on the 20th century.
Through 400 works, including photographs,
drawings, paintings, manuscripts, books,
films and fashion creations (from Mademoiselle Chanel to Karl Lagerfeld),
CULTURE CHANEL retraces the
bold adventure of a brand that continues
to express the essence of its time and
whose language is synonymous with modernity and creativity.
