Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation! Xx

So Dolce and Gabbana has launched its fabulous
Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation,
and we went to try it out at Harrods
where you can buy it Exclusively
at their brand new counter in the Whitehall.
The Brilliant 'Max the Joker' had been
specially flown in from Milan
to do make overs with this beautiful new
Foundation.

 The advertising visual sees
 Scarlett Johansson in
pure silk satin with her face bathed in Sicilian sunlight,
and a natural, sun kissed glow.
Photographers Mert and Marcus capture the
gentle radiance of her skin suffused with golden luminosity.

The Dolce and Gabbana Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation
is available in 15 shades.

Top Row (L-R) Dolce and Gabbana Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation
– Classic, Bisque, Beige, Creamy, Warm Rose, Natural Glow and Caramel
Bottom Row (L-R) Dolce and Gabbana Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation
– Natural Beige, Bronze, Rose Beige, Amber, Almond, Soft Tan,
Golden Honey and Soft Sable

Each shade costs £35.50

For Dolce and Gabbana,
gold represents the light of Sicily,
and the warm, southern sun that casts
its honeyed glow on the skin.
It also ties in with the golden embellishment in their AW12 show

“Look how gorgeous a woman looks when the light shines on gold,
reflecting on her skin and making her appear radiant and lit from within,”
says Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce.

Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation brings
a golden radiance to the complexion with
its luxuriously fluid texture that instantly assimilates with the skin,
dressing it with illuminating particles of light-reflective mica
together with fine translucent pigments.
Even dry skin is nourished with a special blend of
moisturising agents and conditioning vitamins
leaving it perfectly hydrated with an instant naturally lustrous glow.

“This lightweight formula blends beautifully and can be sheered out
or built up depending on the coverage desired,”
that it served equally as inspiration in our
quest for the perfect collection of lipsticks.”
says famous make-up artist and brand Creative Advisor Pat McGrath.
“The overall look is always flawless and even-toned with a polished,
soft sophisticated finish, and a slightly dewy effect.'

With a choice of 15 global shades offering a smooth and satiny look
and feel and translucent coverage, sin is subtly highlighted
with golden reflections that illuminate the complexion.
Skin appears radiant, as if lit from within, soft and supple.

Three additional shades have been specifically designed
and added to the palette to suit Asian consumers:

Light Ivory, Peachy Beige and Fresh Beige offer perfect,
translucent cover and a natural colour affinity.

Me and Dolce and Gabbana's 'Max the Joker'

The make up Max used

So Max used a mixture of Beige and
Natural Glow Creamy Foundation as a base
and then the brand new Luminous Liquid Foundation
applied with a brush in a mixture of
130 Warm Rose and 110 Caramel
so he could achieve a bespoke colour for me.

Max then created a 'Milanese' make-up look for
me, to perfectly suit the natural looking luminous
liquid foundation.
On my eyes is the nude quad palette.
Using the orange colour on the lids and sockets and
no 19 eyeliner applied in vertical tiny strokes
and then smudged together with a brush
close to the lash line,
Max then used a mixture of the beige and dark terracotta shade with
a brush on the outer corner of the eyes and sockets.
He mixed the two colours in the
cinnamon duo and used as a beautiful
nude highlighter on the brow bones
and on the the inner lower corners of the eyes.

Above: Mediterraneo Quad
Max used the dark brown from Mediterraneo
quad brushed onto my eyebrows
to shape and darken them.

Then using the fabulous lace Intenseyes Mascara
max built up my lashes using at the
end the very tip of the brush
to give a lolita like false lash look.

Next the lips are outlined with nude lipliner
and filled in with Mandoria Lipstick

Mandoria was used by Pat McGrath in the AW12 show
check my Post:
Max finished with the beautiful gloss 80 Candy
for a pop of colour

Max then used Provocative -

Dolce and Gabbana's stunning and dramatic pink Blusher
just on the apples of the cheeks to give the skin
that porcelain look.
The nails are in Perfection.
