Burberry Prorsum SS13 Womenswear Show! Xx

And here is the show....

Christopher Bailey is an artist like no other -
and he can play with lace, metallics, colour, print, gaberdine,
leather, taffeta, pvc and
pleats and make the end result look like vintage,
and as it was always meant to be.
The exotic colours remind you of India, the deep dyes
which are so finely and beautifully graduated,
  in a truly modern sense,
are to be worn here and now.

Like a magician Bailey has experimented
with every shape
of the trench from the extremely mini short cape,
blowing it to a cocoon shape and then
turning it into a cloak, it even appears in pvc.
He has steeped himself in the rich heritage,
brought in all his creative spirit and woven
in play and high fashion with an end result of a new
modern tradition in the tapestry of Burberry.

Shoes are of every hue and bags are in pvc, satin
and metallic leather in jewelled brights.

We may just have to move into the new Regent Street Store,

 Love the pvc crop cloak
dress - adore! Xx

We love this golden apricot and rose pleated taffeta trench
on Jourdan Dunn, silver peep toe shoes and orange pvc bag
see the absolutely fine graduation of dyeing technique
and complete deepness and trueness of colour
- amazing! Xx

loving this cocoon shape over shorts

love this whole outfit the rose hued colours, the cape,
satin shorts, top, bag and yellow shoes

classic Bailey juxtaposition of neutrals and leather,
with metallics and colour for modern twist

Above: here on Cara and Jourdan you can see perfectly
the truly modern face of Christopher Bailey's Burberry.
Cara's short belted caramel leather jacket - still steeped in heritage
and tradition by the beauty of its technique of production, alongside
the modern cut and styling. And Jourdan's cropped pale trench worn
over lace body.  Both accessorised with bright coloured peep toe shoes
and metallic leather bags.

this is genius of cut and colour unsurpassed
 - and this raspberry satin trench accessorised with deep green bag
and ultramarine ankle strap satin shoes is inspired
