Selfridges launches a celebration of denim
 across all its stores with exclusive product launches,
 designer appearances, style advice and special events.

With denim available from 35 womens brands 
and the longest womens denim wall in Europe, 
Selfridges is the global destination for denim. 
From 20 August – 9 September, 
Selfridges five stores 
celebrate their unrivalled selection 
in the form of Destination Denim.

denim is the cornerstone of our contemporary womenswear 
offer and where we’re seeing the biggest growth. 
Destination Denim is our chance to bring that to life for our customers, 
and we’re really excited to showcase such a dynamic edit 
of exclusive products and exciting events.”

LA-based denim giants Hudson present the LEELOO collection, 
previewing at Selfridges one month before any anywhere else in the UK. 
Featuring a distinctive side panel and a cropped leg shape, 
the LEELOO is available in four colour ways.

In celebration of the dynamic LEELOO campaign 
fronted by Georgia May Jagger, 
a cabaret dancer will perform in the Oxford Street store on 
Saturday 25 August to bring the collection to life.

“Remember the movie The Fifth Element? 
The inspiration for the LEELOO came from 
the graphic top worn by Mila Jovovich in the film.”

Paige exclusive printed jeans, £355
Paige Denim and Selfridges join forces to present 
a collection of three distinctly individual jeans 
which will be available only at Selfridges. 
Inspired by digital prints seen on AW12 runways, 
the Paige offers a unique take on the trend,
 transforming the brand’s classic ‘Verdugo Ultra Skinny’ 
with abstract Baroque prints. 
Paige Adams-Geller, Creative Director of Paige Denim 
will be in-store in Selfridges London on 
1 September 2012 from 2-5pm 
alongside Fashion Features Editor 
of British VOGUE Sarah Harris, 
showing a denim-enthusiast how 
to wear Paige's highly addictive styles.

Celebrity favourite and Selfridges’ topselling denim label,
 J Brand, presents the Coated Bullet collection – 
launching at Selfridges three months before anywhere else in the world. 
The low-rise skinny style, available in three colour ways 
(ruby, purple and militia green) offer a super-skinny fit 
and directional high-shine finish.
 The brand’s New York-based Event and 
Fit Specialist and all-round denim expert 
Oscar Adames will be in Selfridges 
stores to help customers find 
their perfect fit on the following dates:

AW/12 marks the reveal of an evolved denim collection for AllSaints.
 Selfridges will be the first store to receive
 five of the brand’s new season denim styles
 which are have been developed with a nod to 
AW trends underpinned by signature AllSaints finish. 
Centred around the Ambie Brodie, 
Daito Brodie and Rose Ditsy Jean,
 the new printed collection embraces the 
influence of oxblood as a key colour for AW12 
and is designed to be paired with other 
key components of the collection. 
A chance to win a pair of All Saints jeans 
with every purchase made will be available 
in all stores from Thursday 30 August – Sunday 2 September.

In celebration of Destination Denim, 
7 For All Mankind launches the Liquid Metallics 
flash collection at Selfridges two weeks before any other
retailer . 
Available in four colour ways, 
the styles feature coated yarns creating a mercurial, 
liquid-like finish whilst retaining stretch. 
To help shoppers find their perfect fit, 
the brand will also have ambassadors on 
hand in Selfridges stores in London ( 24 August) 
and Manchester Exchange (31 August)

In celebration of the ultimate staple pair of jeans, 
the Racer Slash style exclusive to Selfridges for AW12, 
Thursday 30 August will see Citizens of Humanity 
descend on the London store’s denim department 
with brand ambassadors, fit models and denim-inspired cupcakes.
 Founded by Jerome Dahan in 2003 
(who previously founded 7 For All Mankind), 

every pair of Citizens of Humanity denim is made 
100% in the US. Citizens of Humanity is 
one of the few denim companies to own their 
own wash house facilities, which allows for complete control 
and innovation in the manufacturing process. 
With attention to detail, and luxurious vintage washes the 
company produces over one million pairs of jeans every year.

will host brand ambassadors in the 
London store on 31 August to enable shoppers 
to create the perfect Americana look. 
Taking a modern approach to the American classic, 
Current/Elliott seeks to transcend denim trends
 with unique silhouettes, classic fit, and everlasting aesthetics.


Three AW12 denim styles will be launching exclusively at Selfridges, 
including the luxe leather-look brown skinny style.
 The brand will also a programme of digital 
activity on, 
including competitions and live QandAs to answer 
customers denim style dilemmas.

East London-based duo
Bitching andJunkfood, who run their own online store and blog, 
have exclusively customised 
True Religion styles which will be sold exclusively 
in Selfridges London. Inspired by street style and Hackney hipsters,
 Kath and Marion of Bitching andJunkfood 
will re-imagine styles from True Religions’s Blue Collar workwear range.

Celebrating the Stretch Deluxe collection, 
the ultimate stretch denim and Lee Jeans’ 
latest innovation in comfort and movement, 
Selfridges stores in Manchester and Birmingham 
will host unique in-store yoga classes. 
Customers are invited to take part in the classes 
whilst wearing the jeans to really put the collection to the test 
– all whilst enjoying complimentary smoothies for an added health kick. 
Classes will take place from 12pm-5pm on 25-26 August in Birmingham, 
1-2 September in Manchester Exchange 
and 8-9 September in Manchester Trafford.

SELFRIDGES.COM will come to life in a complete denim takeover for the project.
 Not only will all exclusive styles be available to buy online, 
but a dynamic programme of content will be launched - 
designed to make shopping for denim online at a unique and engaging experience. 
Denim glossaries will equip die-hard jean-iuses 
with expert terminology, 
designers and Creative Directors from brands
 including 7 For All Mankind and
 Citizens of Humanity will give exclusive interviews, 
and size guides will make finding the perfect 
fit easier than ever before. 
Styling sessions by magazine editors and fashion bloggers 
will provide authorative advice on the hottest 
denim trends and how to wear them. 
Gain an enlightening insight into the working day 
of a denim specialist at Selfridges, 
and be inspired by iconic denim heroes 
from throughout the ages in retrospective special features. 
On 23 August the site will launch a 
twelve-hour jean-a-thon wherein every 
hour will see competition giveaways, 
Twitter style surgeries, and brand takeovers.
