                                    DIOR SUMMER LOOK 2012

Me, Jamie Coombes and Charlotte Ekholt of Dior Couture

So on 3 May, we went to Harrods Ice Cream Parlour on

the Second floor 

for the launch of Croisette - the Dior Summer 2012 Look.

Nicola Moulton, the lovely Beauty Editor from Vogue was

there and Jamie Coombes the Fabulous Dior Make up Artist.

(Jamie is part of the Dior International Pro Artist team 

– there are only 10 in the team from across all the international markets. 

They get the call to represent Dior internationally 

at events such as the Cannes Film Festival 

and Paris Fashion Week as well as contributing 

to product development and supporting events all over the world.)

very beautiful Charlotte Eckholt

the PR of Christian Dior Couture.

First, Jamie put on a light foundation on Charlotte's skin

 and a layer of the fabulous skin flash which

plumps and illuminates in the most wonderful way.

Then the 750 Sunset Eye gloss and

 the bronze colour from the Aurora 5 Couleurs Palette. 

Jamie said the texture of the pigment was phenomenal

while, with a brush he 'swooped' down the socket line.

Jamie uses brushes and Fingers which helps him to

work like an artist and blend everything correctly.

He finds sponges not so good, or accurate.

Jamie then used the incredible

Turquoise waterproof eyeliner

 

working into root of lash 

and lengthening out.  He gave a tip when working with pencil eyeliners

to draw with a series of dots and join them together rather than pull at the skin.

He also loves the Sheer pigment skin flash which you can see here 

(below) on Charlotte Cheek bones before being blended in.

was then used to add a fabulous radiance to Charlotte's complexion.

Jamie always applies this in the shape of a '33'

starting at the High points of the Temple 

to the Cheeks and down to the chin.

Then to finish Jamie used Lip Balm in 003 Crystal Coral.  These are of a really

moisturising formula - great for Summer! Xx

They are not at all the same as gloss, literally lip balms

with a hint of colour.

At the Vogue/Harrods event we were treated to Champagne, 

mini ice creams,

Croissette Dior make overs, manicures

and went home with a gorgeous goody bag

and copy of the Fabulous June Vogue

ultramarine, sky blue, turquoise, pearl grey and bikini pink.
