Red or Dead for Summer 2012! Xx

We are loving Red or Dead SS12
Swimwear Collection

Take a look at the Behind the Scenes Film of the Shoot

Red or Dead was started by
Wayne Andrew Hemingway Esq and his good lady wife,
Gerardine Hemingway back in 1982.
They had no money, so they emptied their wardrobes
and sold them on Camden market one Saturday
and before they knew it they had 16 stalls.

Check their History in the Fabulous Book by Tamsin Kingswell
below:

The Good the Bad and the Ugly
(The Cutting Edge)

In 1986 Red or Dead opened their first Stores in Soho,
London, selling the first Red or Dead footwear range
designed by Wayne and Gerardine.
In 1987 Stores opened in Neal Street, Covent Garden
and regular queues outside the shop
due to the success of the 'Watch Shoe', as worn by teen brand Bros.

In 1988 The business expanded and the building of a design team began.
Red or Dead had its first catwalk collection,
 'Space Baby', for Spring/Summer 1989.

In 1995 Red or Dead won the British Fashion Council’s
inaugural Street Style Designer of the Year Award
and Wayne and Gerardine sold to the Facia Group.
 In 1996 Pentland Brands PLC
bought Red or Dead who still own it now
where it is designed from their amazing headquarters in Finchley.

Mitre, Kickers UK, Lacoste Chaussures,
