Coachella Music Festival with Special Guest Tupac and Mulberry, Lacoste and Armani Exchange/T-Mobile Parties! Xx

At This Year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California

Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg resurrected late rapper
Tupac Shakur as an onstage hologram.

The life-sized figure of Shakur in
his classic acid-wash jeans
and Timberland boots.
appeared on stage and said "What up, Coachella?!"

It is more than 15 years since he died in 1996 at age 25, in a shooting.

Watch the set on You Tube below

The Tupac hologram performed 2
of Amerikaz Most Wanted
"Come With me" and "Gangsta Party" with Snoop Dogg,
and then joined Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre in a performance of "Hail Mary"
 before disappearing into thin air.

The atmosphere was electric - the audience was stunned
by the mixture of CGI techniques
and actual original video of Tupac performing
to create a stunningly life-like image of the late
much beloved Tupac Shakur who performed alongside Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg
see below

According to TMZ, Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur

watched the whole thing live on the internet and thought
the resurrection was amazing, though of course
Dr. Dre had asked Afeni for approval and Dre
had made a donation to the Tupac's charity
The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.

 Eminem performed
'I Need A Doctor', 'Forget About Dre'
and 'Till I Collapse' with Dr Dre,

50 Cent with Snoop Dogg rapped 'In Da Club'

Nate Dogg, who died last year aged 41,
was remembered by Snoop and Dr Dre
through a montage of photographs and
a performance of 'Ain't No Fun', featuring Warren G and Kurupt,
all of whom had worked with Nate Dogg over their careers.

Dre and Snoop also brought on rising hip hop stars
such as Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa,

who performed 'Young, Wild and Free'.
