These are the kind of floral colours that you’d find 
in a bouquet of pretty blooms, 

such as Lilac and Rose Petal.

“There’s something really uplifting about these colours. 

They make you feel as if you’re on holiday,”  

says Dolce and Gabbana Make Up creative advisor Pat McGrath.

Bringing Spring/Summer’s matt pastel trend shades to fingertips and toenails, 

there is a collection of six shades of the nail lacquer

Lilac, Rose Petal, Lemon, Acqua, Mint and Anise.

These are complemented by five shades of lipgloss, 

ranging from clear Acqua, through silver pink Shimmer, 

peach-toned Innocence, 
frosted Pink Diamond to fruity Raspberry.

Eyes are a key focal point 

The Eyeshadow Smooth Eye Colour Quad is in Bouquet 

shades of Light Green, 

Blue, Violet and Light Pink.

six amazing shades of the eyeliner -

deep green Agave and Lilac, Shimmer Highlighter and

 Lemon, Mint and Acqua. 
The sparkling blue Acqua and sunlit Shimmer are colours 
that convey the fresh, outdoor feeling of summer in the south.

“The luscious colour and vibrant beauty of the fashion prints 

inspired us to translate the idea into a range of joyful shades for 

lips, eyes and nails,” explains Stefano Gabbana.

The exuberant sensuality of the Italian culture and tradition

 provides the perfect inspiration for the new colour collection.

With Mambo Italiano as the soundtrack, 

the upbeat theme of Dolce and Gabbana’s collection for 

Spring/Summer Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana 

2012 evoked the joyful spirit of Summer 

in a small town in the South of Italy.
