Princess Yachts at the Boat Show Excel

So on Thursday we went to the LVMH Moet and Chandon
Champagne Reception
at Princess Yachts at the Boat Show at
Excel

and we took the clipper from Waterloo that took us to

Canary Wharf and a taxi from there to Excel
A very easy trip and the trip along the Thames got us in the mood for
The Boat Show

I took my friend Peter Kirchem who is an expert in Boats
and brilliant photographer - as you can see above.

He has travelled extensively all over the world -
especially in the Caribbean, as I have where Princess Yachts are very popular.
Peter has also lived in on the Riviera in Switzerland, Italy and Cannes.
Indeed, similarly to George Clooney
he still keeps a place on one of the Lakes in Italy with
a beautiful boat.  He is currently writing a book
called diamonds in the sun
which describes the vision of the
sparkles on the water in the sun as you drive off in your boat
Heavenly! X

Princess Yachts – the definitive luxury motor yacht experience.

Princess Yachts was founded in 1965 by a small group of like-minded enthusiasts
headed by David King. The company was then known as Marine Projects Ltd.
In 1980 Bernard Olesinski designed his first Princess, the 30 DS, starting the beginning
of a design relationship that has continued to the present day.
the Princess brand has become synonymous with all that is finest
in motor yacht creation and design.
Dedication to quality at every level and strength and integrity in both design and build, coupled with the finest design skills, are the core values that have seen Princess Yachts become established as one of the most respected brands in the luxury marine industry.

In 2008, Princess Yachts International was acquired by L Capital 2 FCPR, an investment group sponsored by LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) and Groupe Arnault.
The LVMH group includes over 60 international luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Fendi, De Beers, Moet Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, and Krug.
Other Marine interests include Superyacht builder Feadship.

With a work force of over 1800 and over 46 distributors in over 75 countries worldwide, Princess Yachts are one of the world’s most respected names in the marine industry, praised for their innovation and their timeless designs.

Princess Yachts start from 42 ft upwards, all designed to the highest specifications.
2011 saw launch of the 32M, a long range cruising yacht of 105 feet.
(see below)

2012 will see the launch of a 130 feet tri-deck vessel, the 40M.

Both of these new M Class vessels are being built in the company’s
newly acquired ‘South Yard’ site, a 15 acre ex-Navy facility which the company
plans to develop into a world class manufacturing facility through an investment programme of around £45m.
The site is additional to the 5 existing sites Princess already operates in Plymouth and forms a major part of the brand’s future plans as it looks to expand into new markets.

Every Princess yacht blends cutting edge technology,
traditional craftsmanship and elegant design for relaxation and luxurious living.
