Claridge's Christmas Tree is designed by Lanvin's Alber Elbaz Xx

Alber Elbaz, the creative head of Lanvin, unveiled his take on the traditional Christmas tree with a tableau of caricatures portraying the Lanvin family at home, 
at a Christmas soiree hosted by Claridge’s Hotel,  London.  
Alber, a longstanding guest of Claridge’s, made the decorations at the Lanvin Atelier in Paris with some assistance 
from Santa’s little helpers!

Partygoers in Lanvin included Suki Waterhouse, Amba Jackson, Tallulah Harlech and Mary Charteris along with Emilia Fox

There were pomegranate and mulled apple cocktails and

 parsnip and chestnut croquettes, turkey and ham pies followed by gingerbread houses, biscuit stars and truffles.

Alber said: 

“The concept of the Christmas Tree decoration is to create an installation that carries the spirit of Lanvin, an infusion of tradition and modernity at the same time. The tree is to emanate and bring heartwarming joy to all who work and stay as guests at Claridge's hotel.  It's my way to wish them a very Merry Christmas.”

The Claridge’s Christmas Tree has long been a holiday sensation, drawing visitors and Londoners alike to marvel at its magnificent design. It is the third year that Claridge’s has invited one of its longstanding guests to create and decorate the Christmas tree in their own inimitable style.
