So on Thursday morning I went to the Press Breakfast at Somerset House
Jefferson Hack and Emma Reeves - the curators took us around the Exhibition.

Somerset House was originally a purpose built office block for
the Civil Service & Navy
It is now running an arts centre & exhibitions
and of course our lovely LFW twice a year.
Jefferson Hack has made yet Another a master stroke at choosing
Somerset House for the Exhibition of the book

'making it up as we go along'

The Exhibition is curated by Jefferson Hack & Emma Reeves
Designed by Jack Flanagan who has
worked with Meisel & Testino
the installations showing magazine spreads have mirrored sides
reflecting Dazed's synergy of art meets music meets culture - politics
- fashion etc
there is work here from all the greats - a huge portrait by juergen teller
of Yves saint laurent looks over us in the first room along with works by
terry richardson - the great man rankin, solve sunsbo, david sims,
and of course Nick Knight, and there are
commissioned projects by artists
jake & dinos chapman, sam taylor-wood, Damien hirst all included in the show.

Spanning 20 years the exhibition represents photography that covers the range
of the huge speed of change of digital technology that has happened

getting the negatives involved one photographer searching in his mom's garage
while now with digital files images are much easier to store and locate.

The Exhibition runs from
4 November 2011 - 29 January 2012
open daily 10.00 - 18.00
admission  free
